Courtney’s Semester at Sea. Around the world in 100 days

Courtney is the envy of any student.  Just imagine travelling the world by ship whilst studying, seeing first hand the things you learn in geography, politics, history and science.  Well that is what Courtney is doing, travelling the world with her fellow class mates and sharing her travel experience online with family, friends and us.

Among the usual things you would learn in a classroom, Courtney is finding answers to the things we would all like to know such as;

How many people can you fit on a motorbike? Answer .... Eight. Who would have thought it was possible.

And what do you do when you pack a snow board but find there is no snow in sight? Answer .... Find a sand dune and go sand boarding.

But it’s not all fun and games for Courtney, there is the constant avoiding of pirates on the high seas and don’t forget the Sea Olympics, competition between hallways on the ship to find the true king of the seas.

David’s Long Overdue holiday

No back packing for this guy, it’s first class all the way as David makes his way around the world.

 

David treats us all to his detailed perspective of the world, with magnificent travel photos associated with a very informative travel journal.

David has the largest viewer list seen and anticipated on eTravelDiary with almost 50 viewers, he distorts the message boards and sends our developers in a frenzy to correct.

David goes undercover to bring us some great pictures of the Windsor Castle in London ...(when security has its back turned!!)

But it’s not all fun and games for David who has to put up with obnoxious behaviour from a passenger who clips his nails and cleans his ears in first class and then gets questioned by Customs who believe he is a smuggler. Click here to read more...

Charlie’s Summer in Europe

Charlie and good friend Viktor decide they are going to leave the cold winter of Albuquerque and head to Europe to enjoy the summer.

These two backpackers go everywhere in Europe imaginable and treat their fellow architecture class mates to some awesome travel and architecture photos.

We all cried when Charlie accidentally dropped his good camera into a river in Portugal.  It was a sad day for all.

Disappointment struck when Charlie and Viktor reached the Pantheon in Athens to grab that once in a lifetime picture only to find that restoration scaffolding was in the way of the money shot.

And they almost declared bankruptcy in Venice when a single Jack Daniels and Coke cost them almost 20 American dollars.

90 days later Charlie and Viktor arrive back in the U.S with many great travel memories and stories.
